This is how I clean my face brushes. The reason I like using just my hands is that it's quick and I like to feel the brush as I'm cleaning it to make sure I'm getting every spot. :)
I cut out the middle part with brush 190 since it wouldn't fit under ten minutes.

omg i clean my brushes exactly the same way lol it helps to use your hand because you can really see how the soap changes colour when it removes the makeup from the brushes

any white/cream eyeshadow/eyeliner in the inner corners helps to open up your eyes and make them look bigger.

Fuck, how dirty do your brushes get? You wash them so many times. I go over them once with Baby Shampoo, and then give them a really good rinse. Geez, I thought you said you like to do things quickly and efficiently!

Yes, and I like to be clean as well. You have no idea how much bacteria is harbored in your brushes. I'd rather not take the risk.

hey kat when u wash ur 187, does the outside black bristles stick out? as in fly aways? cuz i got a stippling brush from another brand and it's doing dat, i don't know if i'm washing it wrong or it's a bad quality brush=(

hey girl, right after i wash the 187, i get fly aways for a bit, when it is laying and still drying, but after it dries up the bristles all restore themselves and are straight again. i think i have like 2 strands that are sticking out. and the rest is fine. =]

i've heard that your never suppose to turn a brush completely upside down while your washing the brush because it makes the water go down the handle. And sometimes many may turn it over but some water can stay in there and then mold can grow in there. is there any truth to this? My mom told me about it and i've always kinda followed it. I never flip my brush upside down..I make sure that the bristles are facing downward when i wash it.

yeah, the water can get into the handel of the brush and it can ruin(?) the glue that holds the brisels(?) together, so your entire brush can fall apart...
i hope you understood that...i don't know how to spell some of the words :):D

ur actually not suppose to swirl it. idk why but i was always told dont swirl just do it back and forth and yea no upside down brush while its wet or turning it up. lol i hate cleaning my brushes cause im like scared the water is gonna get to the glue. lol

A quick tip for you. I know sometimes it's hard to always remember..but I noticed that when you washed your brushes, you would lift the brush upward after you've wet it. Try your best not to do that, bc if you do the water will run down into the ferrell and will loosen up the glue and either the ferrell will come off of the handle or the hairs will start to loosen up and fall out.

You should definitely be cleaning your brushes more than twice a month. Especially if you use them every day. For obvious sanitary reasons.
