1929 - 2008
Local Musician Wally D. Willette, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 6th. Mr. Willette was born in Bangor, Maine on July 2, 1929. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Etta, his daughters, Linda & Marleah, his sons, Terry & Timothy and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He performed with many bands such as the Globe Rockers, Blue Ramblers and the Polk Brothers who he wrote and recored his song Eenie Meenie with. He was also inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame with the songs Eenie Meenie & Pink Elephants. Mr. Wally Willette gone at 78.
CHARLES S. PERRY
1961-2008
Local Musician/Drummer Charles Perry, age 46, of Gulf Breeze, passed away Monday, January 7th in a local hospital. He was born March 25, 1961 in Fairhope, AL and was a lifelong resident of the area. Survivors include his wife, Theresa, mother, Mary Ann, daughter, Vanessa, son, Michael, brother, Richard Perry, Sr., nephew, Richard Perry, Jr., 4 grandchildren and his dog, "Motley Crue". Mr. Charles Perry gone at 46.
