The problem is that these foods are made with synthetic chemicals that are really foriegn to the body. Sooner or later the body attacks these particles along with your own body. There are diseases which may not make you feel ill, but are still very vicious. These things can change your dna. Offspring will suffer even if you don't. If you eat fast food, try to eat from diner type places where they make real food and not processed stuff. All you'll be giving up is the crappy stuff.

I just can't help but notice that this video makes you think that EVERY problem you have is ONLY because you eat to much sugar; ignoring all other potential sources. This image is misleading. Reality is much more complicated.
Oversimplified model of reality will eventually lead to mistakes that can be harmful and even dangerous.
e.g. Blaming symptoms caused by other potentially harmful source on high blood sugar levels.
Still, using GI can help some people. It's way better than bulimia.

im healthy, i eat nothin but burgers pizza and tacos!!! i go to the gym so im sure it evens out. when i notice myself getting fat il stop.. but for mean time, im gonna eat nothin but junk food and enjoy all the wonderful tasting foods!! fruits and vegetables arent enjoyable unless there in some sort of fruit punch or in cakes :)

The GI index can't be all that reliable when it comes down to doing the calculations. There is no concrete number for most of the foods I've looked up. Where do these numbers even come from? Not mentioned. Even comparing two fairly professional sites. Hardly ever the same number. It's not as simple as choosing what's below 55 and goin' for it. Parsnips are stated as being 97? compared to pop corn which is stated as being 55. Pop corn is hardly nutritional. Maybe that's just me.

I used to be JUST like you I used to BMX all day everyday, I would drink around 2 liters of mtn dew a DAY, I would eat up a big bag or two of doritto's a DAY, and I would go out to Taco bell at least twice a day and then go out drinking at party's all weekend.I'm almost 30 right now and I'm telling you one day you will crash and crash hard. Right now you don't care and even though you think you look good on the outside on the inside its a ticking time bomb...No joke.I'm just givin fair warning.

I just mean in a few years your body wont be able to keep up with your life style, I had my fun and I'm paying for it already, I can only ride for only a half hour now due to my weak knees and back. Taco's and stuff is ok though IF you make them your self at home. and I would replace the soda with juice's and stuff...besides juice is good...lol If you work out you will even see a change in muscle tone too and thats a good thing:) chicks dig it.

Specific Carbohydrate Diet is the BEST.
Try reading Breaking the Vicious Cycle if you are having intestinal problems.
High glycemic foods are not "in a sense predigested"...they are full of preservatives and chemicals that DO NOT digest easily or correctly. They feed yeast
"Easier to digest"? No!
You could suffer very serious health problems and will have GERD, diarreah, colitis,Chron's.
Eating beans and whole grains will not easily digest and you will probably be in pain and ill.....

I'd say in most cases better actually lol.
Dunno if you've got all the confectionary and stuff like that at the supermarket, well I never go there generally, maybe an exception if it's someones birthday, a party or that sort of thing. That's it, I don't consider it "regular" food. Bit like having a cigar for a non-smoker.
You get a better appreciation when you start out with the basics too, some pretty luxurious natural foodstuffs are a lot cheaper in their unadulterated state anyway!
