"The Prayer" is a song that holds a special meaning for Charice as she believes that God had been fulfilling her dreams after all the hard training in her singing career and after she and her family passed through difficult trials in life. One of her cherished dreams is to one day sing a duet with Andrea Bocelli.
In July 20, 2008, at a tender age of 16, this dream was fulfilled in Lajatico, Tuscany, Italy where Charice was invited by Andrea to sing with him in his concert at the Teatro de Silenzio. Her performance in Lajatico garnered critical acclaim in Italy was praised for an excellent rendition of this song and other performances.
