Very true. Some dont mind being called Indian or American Indian but we are not Indian at all. I think the reason it bothers more Natives today id because there are so amny East Indians here and WE are not them. But its true part of it is memory but it should be corrected. And for those that don't mind that's cool too.

Indian peoples of all the varied tribes in North America are to me a kind of Enigma. I believe they will continue to survive long after we have past. Only the Indian have the right to say this land is the best land. Our hope is we move out to the stars, and the Land here will replenish itself by the grace of Great Spirit.

Those who say Fuck All Americans use the hardware software and means granted them by us. Develope this yourself! Most of us will make amends. Will we make amends to the one who is worse than us? I'm not against positiveness and a brighter future for Indigenous peoples of the Americas. But I for one can not allow the memory of lives lost, up to 150 million human beings basically murdered to just be forgotten. And I don't want to turn this into a conflict, because this video focuses on a beautiful song. You's can give me negatives if you wish, but that's the way I feel and I will never forget. I'd rather die like the others, then forget. And I make no apologies to no one.

I agree totally and I am in prayer that as Human Beings we will realize the responsibility that we have always had, the fact is that most people simply refuse to acknowledge that role we have been given by tbe Great Spirit, the result as we all know has been disasterous. I too cannot forget, and am greatful for your honesty. It takes courage to stand where most people fear to trod. Don't stop standing up for what is right, the fact is that people who are not standing up for what is right have most certianly contributed to the problem by simply choosing to do nothing. In doing nothing most fail to see that is still a choice.

Completely agree with the song we are all human beings the only difference is they were tougher than us, more civilize than us, etc. As the true pioneers they made the last sacrifice against their will for future generations to come. Let us hope they will and still always be remember as the true fathers and remember what we did to them.

My birth mom had a lot of Mohawk, Native American in her bloodline. Everybody always told her: "You look very Native American." We had a good family friend out in California, he was full blooded Seneca. We all called him Chief. I stayed with him last time I visited, he's now passed from this life like my mom. RIP both of them.
