He meant keep using the exact same sequence on each other middle piece for e.g. you find a piece on the top: white and red. Now, whatever color is on the front of that cubelet, line it up with it's center. Then, perform the algorithms. Simple. So use this sequence on every corner piece in the middle layer in order to solve the second layer!
