Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. What I meant was that he is probably CURRENTLY working with new Nintendo equipment to deliver something even more innovative soon (he obviously wouldn't be able to work with the new stuff at the time he created the above video. Statement of the Obvious)

No you will not beable to make this work on current games unless someone else re makes/edits them, You will probably beable to download the program and setup the screen and wii and perhaps get simple games other people have made for this.
