the costumes and colours in this film were fab , french revolution is one of my favorite time periods , esp in this flick , this fil made me se a brighter and different side to the french revolution compared to what i studied in history at skool , thanx 4 uploading this costume part . k

I love Milena Canonero work on this film. The 18th century is one of my favourite times in history in terms of clothes. You should also see the film " The Affair of the Necklace", the costumes on it are also designed by Milena Canonero.

I wear my Marie Antoinette costume, wig, shoes, hoops, & all and just enjoy when I'm home alone dancign around in it to this song pretending I am a princess of that time in her court!!!!

You don´t know Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, wife of Louis 16.?! She was born in Austria, her mother was the austrian empress. She has been killed 1793 with her husband during the french revolution (guillotine).
