Ok, it's a long story but I'll try to answer your queston pizzapap. Ok, Jim told Pam he loved her and she rejected him because she was engaged to Roy who works in the warehouse. After being rejected, Jim goes to a different branch to work where he meets Karen, the rebound girl. After the branch Jim had just started at gets downsized, they all go to the Scranton branch. By then Pam is single, but it's Jim's turn to reject her 'cause he's with Karen now.
Does that makes sense?

hey i m a fan of the office and when i see teh season two y wished a lot that jim and pam stay together, but this change when karen came... oh my god for me she is so cute and jim is an idiot i hope she came back and have her happy ending - karen rocks!!
