I suppose it'd be because society has a strong hold on lots of people, and society has a lot of really stupid aspects to it. And I never really cared much about what society told me to do. So if it says I can't listen to riot grrl, then society can go to hell. And if it says it's not cool to admire feminists, then I guess I'm just a really uncool dude.
