Do you believe in love at first sight? Normally I don't, but I have to say, one look at the HP 2133 Mini Note and I felt my heart flutter - it's damn fine looking! The HP 2133 Mini Note is HP's answer to the Asus EEE. Ranging in price from $499 for a Linux-based, 4 GB SSD version to over $750 for a Windows Vista Business based version with a 160 GB hard drive.
The version I look at in this video retails for $599 USD. It has a VIA 1.2 Ghz CPU, an 8.9" LCD screen (1280 x 768 resolution), 1 GB of RAM, a 120 GB 5400 RPM hard drive, 802.11 a/b/g WiFi, a 3 cell battery, and runs Windows Vista Basic.

i love how it looks. i really think HP got it right there - the price, capabilities and looks. Beats the Macbook air anyday (cough* macbook airs 5 times as much). Nice unboxing, im gona do one when and if i get mine :/

No, it does not. You'd have to use a USB-based external drive to load up CDs and DVDs.

This is a very slow system with a very slow out dated processor. battery life is only 1.5 hours. No wonder amazon lower the price down to $400 the same time the New Acer One 160 gig, 6 cell battery with the Atom Processor came out....get the Acer...this HP is out dated.

NewEgg, Amazon, etc. Any online computer store will have them. I bought a Samsung external DVD burner that I got for about $65.

i juxt bought mine here in japan last week for 79800 yen. it comes with vista business, 2gb ram, 160gb hard drive, 1.6ghz. with 2 battery packs... 1 thin which i think is 3cell and 1 fat battery which i think is 6cell. im not yet using the fat battery yet.

I'm not sure. I no longer have the Mini Note 2133 here, so I can't check...it's probably mentioned in your manual though.

This guy handle this mini laptoy like a toy,he slaped it almost 10 time on the table.This thing is cheap pay more attention...poor guy!?!?!?!BTW vista basic have aero if you want..and since 2 years i have never see a video card who can't run aero.Sorry find you another job.
