xraycat30, Saw samantha peszek, she does have bad taste, But Alicia is an inspiration to me and to the millions of other fans, she showed great heart thru hardships, and she is an Italian American and from Boston, this is why I'm such a big fan of Alicia Sacramone. I get defensive when people say shit. I do agree with you though on samantha peszek.

I understand why you defend her. You're a huge fan, you see someone trashing her, so you react. I'm not really trashing her as much as I am mainstream culture right now. I mean, the girls beautiful and highly talented, but I'm disappointed that Timberlake (musically worthless) and Tila (culturally worthless) are interests of hers. But truth is,I'm trashing culture more than her. Maybe if she was exposed to better culture, she'd seek it..like many out there.I don't like current America.Thats all

Well I understand, you have the right to voice your opinion, and yeah your right about me being a huge fan, I'm a big fan of music of the 60's & 70's, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, even Frank Sinatra, not a big fan of Timberlake though, but that is what she likes so I don't really care.

You never know! I can tell you for sure that none of the current olympians knew when they first started gymnastics that they would ever be in the olympics. They just did what they loved, worked hard and also happened to have the talent and luck to be the best at their field. Enjoy the experience! If you become an olympian, great. If not, at the very least least you're in a sport that's keeping you healthy and fit and exposing you to some great experiences. And, of course, having fun :)

Thank you! Now I can stop asking people if I could make it to the Olympics. Today I went to Scats Elite Dimond Gymnastics and I feel better at gymnastics! I was doing candle sticks on the beam and I fell and it hurt my back. Bad!!
