:D i remember this like yesterday...
i didnt speak english wery vell and i had only seen the words "game over" in games when you died :P so when i completed the 100 levels in Buble boble i thought i had done something wrong so i tried over 50 times to complete the game and see if it could be done differently..ofcourse i couldnt. :D but man, it brings back memories!

Me and my mate ALWAYS got stuck on a specific level though! It could have seriously done with some level code after `X` amount of levels complete!

Yes, slower refresh rate. I have been under the impression for sometime that the C64 ran at a slightly slower clock speed including the CPU in order to match the 50hz PAL refresh rate. Nonetheless, the C64 was an outstanding 8 bit system. The NES I think still had slightly better graphics though not by much. The C64 had a FAR superior sound chip in the SID though.
