dookiemoole-Don't be such a jazz nazi. For some players, improvising is physical and emotional. It doesn't just involve the mental gymnastics of hip subs and clever lines. The folded-arms-in-the-back-of-the-room musicians are listening for the wrong stuff anyway. She tries to find the place where the music flows, and work from inspiration. All the greats do. Her place just involves a physical show of emotion. It ain't shtick.
