My dad just got one for work, it runs xp and has 2 gb of ram. he also bought a 32gb jump drive and soldered it into the board so now it has 48gb memory, all solid state! it is really sick!

ur best bet is ac ACER ASPIRE ONE 9" screen /6 cell battery (5hours)/1 gigram/160gig hardrive for $399
or
Samsung nc10 10" screen /6 cell battery (5hours)/1 gigram (2 gig upgradable EZ access slot) /160gig hardrive for $499

This computer is a low quality piece of GARBAGE!
I have had it for one month:
- blue screen of death on day 1
- have reinstalled windows 3 TIMES
- have already had to replace the hard drive
- with the new hard drive its slower than before for some reason
- the sound is messed up now too..and i have reinstalled the sound driver like 3 times..doesnt solve the problem
DO NOT BUY!!! TERRIBLE QUALITY!

One of the advantages of the AAO is you can get the 6 cell battery which lasts almost 6 hours. The Dell Mini 9 lasts almost 4 hours. Dell is cheaper though.
