yeah I don't know much about the dude but I do know that alot of people that attend my school here on campus they are fans of Rob Bell. I am not saying that they need to preach fire & brimstone but gosh.... people need to hear something that is going to convict them & make them want to change. People like this man piss me off... i don't see how people look at scripture & out right disobey the word & come up with their own idealogies I do not get it.

are you saying that he's wrong in asserting that The Kingdom of God is NOT heaven? Because do your research, he's RIGHT. The Kingdom of God is NOT heaven, I'm not sure what that has to do with the doctrine of Hell, but i got the impression you're saying he's wrong. He's actually correct. If you think the "Kingdom of Heaven" or "Kingdom of God" has ANYTHING to do with our "eternal dwelling" you need to go back and read your bible again AND do some research.

Todd always speaks with a dogmatic arrogance. I can't stand the guy to be honest. His talks are usually about how we are all a piece of crap in the sight of God, how we are 100% slime deserving of hellfire, hell, hell, hell, hell. He talks about hell 90% of the time.

Jesus did actually warned clearly about hell.
Mat 18:9
"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."
Mat 23:33
"Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?"
And just like He said in Mat7:13-23, He warned us explicit that not every christian shall enter Heaven. Jesus loves us, and that's why He warned us so hard about Hell.

When emergent's try to tell you you can't string three scriptures together to make one truth, that it's "bad hermeneutics" tell them "I don't interpret scripture by emergent hermeneutics, fundamentalists don't use this system".
Don't let them try to get you confused with objectivity vs. subjectivity and relevancy and post modernism. When they go there just say I don't belive in any of that. They will say "that doesn't mean it doesn't exist", you say "it doesn't to me, that is my faith".

Yes, Pastor, there is a hell. The rich man (Luke 16:19-31) learned this to his everlasting torment and regret.He still hungered, thirsted, and cared for his loved ones but no longer had hope, influence or access to the mercy tendered to him throughout his life on earth. How tragic to forget these key passages out of the mouth of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. HAVE MERCY ON US LORD!!!
