Sure, Dinah Washington is great too. But if I had to give you a list of my favourits, than Ella would be first, Lady Day second and Sarah Vaughan third. But sure, Washington is a good fourth one.
Why isn't Dinah the greatest of them all? Well, just look at the "great songs". There are some songs by Dinah that are just perfect, like "I've got a crush on you". But if you look to all the songs they both made, you have to confess that Ella is much better. Just look at Summertime or Blue Moon...

I love her range. It's absolutely perfect for my own, she's such a beautiful singer and I pray that her music really reaches the ears of people who'd rather fall at their knees and cry at fall out boy when they should honestly be listening to this perfect piece of music.

Ella has a wonderful voice but I prepare this song sung by Etta James. Etta's timing and emphasis makes the hair on my arms and back stand up straight for the entirety of the song.
