Oh, yeah we give far more % of our GDP to aid than the USA. In fact I believe we're number one at that. We also give more in absolute terms per person. Look it up at Nationmaster. Then again giving more then the USA isn't such a big deal since most European countries manage that. But you never hear us shouting that of the rooftops like you.

Nope Fema was a failure. Pricesely because reps underfunded it. However it was better than nothing. And California was able to handle it pretty much themselves but are we supposed to believe that the aid they got from the gov or Fema or the other states wasn't welcome?

Looked it up for you. Economic aid top of the list UK 11 billion, 2nd France 10 billion, 3d Japan 9 billion. And after that the richest of them all with a whopping 300 million inhabitants the USA: a measly 7 billion. So no you're not number 1 and if we look at as a % of GDP, which is the only way in which you can measure generosity, America is number 21 of the 22 countries listed. We give about 12 times as much. So pat yourself on the back, idiot.
