As frightening as it is, Paris has become an icon for today's youth whether you like it or not. The sheer lack of involvement that parents have with their kids, and the suffocating storm of apathy the Western world has been barraged with over the last 5 years causes youth to care about Paris Hilton, The Hills, their brand new iPhone, and The Jonas Brothers more than say, anything of import or consequence. Sad but true.
